How to turn off all Modules in Bitdefender 2018?
Sometimes an antivirus can also be a source of the problem as there are many features that won’t support your system or might their security level are a bit high for your device thereby, it stops you to function your system. Turn off all the modules in Bitdefender and when the issue is solved after disabling all the modules, re-enable just one at a time to check which module is a culprit and creating a problem in order to function the system.
Follow the steps to turn off the Bitdefender module-
- Launch the main interface and click on the hamburger menu in the upper left corner of the interface.
- Click on the Protection tab from the left panel and select view features link.
- Press the setting icon and select shield to turn off the switch next to Bitdefender Shield.
- Go back to the Protection Feature screen; press the back arrow at the top left corner of the window.
- Click on the gear icon in the web protection module and then turn off all the switches; scan web for malware, search advisor, scan SSL, protection against fraud and protection again phishing.
- Again navigate to the protection feature window.
- In the Firewall module toggle the bar to turn it off.
- Under the advanced threat defense toggle the bar to turn it off.
- From the anti-spam module toggle the bar to turn it off.
- In the vulnerability module and safe files module toggle the bar to turn it off.
- Select the menu button and in the privacy window select view features.
- This will open a Bitdefender central tab in the browser, sign in if prompted.
- Select a profile associated with your device, click on the three-dot and select device, uncheck the box.
- Hit save.
- From the Webcam protection, slide the switch to OFF.
- From the password manager, slide the switch to OFF.
- Back to the main interface and again select settings.
- In the profile set the switch to Activate profile automatically to off.
